RAC also has its own short term van insurance cover which ranges from one to 28 days.

And if you find a cheaper van insurance quote anywhere else online, get in touch, because we will beat it.
RAC van insurance user reviews
The RAC is one of the biggest names in motoring and is one that is instantly recognisable, but that doesn’t mean reviews are unnecessary.
We’ve collected RAC van insurance user reviews from real customers of The Van Insurer and you can view them here.
These reviews are designed to help inform van owners about RAC and whether they are the right van insurance broker for them.
That’s why we’ve also created a van insurance broker comparison table, that helps you easily compare the brokers on The Van Insurer panel by different review factors, including Policy Features and Value for Money.Close
Will certainly not use again.
I sent copies of all the necessary documents they asked for but they still insisted if was not sufficient proof. Every week they would E-mail me and say if the documents were not received within 7 days they would change me a late document fee of£20 and after 3weeks they would charge me £70 administration charge to cancel my insurance.
I have never had this problem with my previous insurers, who accepted my proof of NCB within 24 hours,
I don't think I will be using RAC on the next renewal
