Everything went quite smoothly online until I decided to actually purchase a policy. I was advised on the forms to check everything as it formed a contract and if I'd... I was advised on the forms to check everything as it formed a contract and if I'd been untruthful or deliberately misleading the insurance could be invalid. So as directed I started to check the form I had completed but it did not show my speeding fine or my wife as a named driver. I then decided to ring up to check that these details were actually within the policy schedule. I was assured that they were. I was then asked if I wanted to pay over the phone and was about to do so when I was told that there was an admin fee of £15 so I declined and returned to finalise things online.
Also at the end of my actual purchase online a form popped up asking me to fill in the full details of my previous insurer so YOU could check my no claims discount. I filled this in and discovered that the underwriters - NIG - were the same and said so on the form. I then assumed that you would check my no claims entitlement. I then had at least 3 emails and I think I may have had a couple of texts telling me to submit proof of no claims asap!! Come on guys which is it?? Everything was going really well.
So sort out exactly what the customer should be able to check online to save ringing up and checking (which defeats the object of doing it online in the first place)
Get rid of this ridiculous fee of £15 for paying over the phone.
Get rid of that form that says you will check the NCD or keep it and you do it.
Otherwise everything else went smoothly but at the material times things seemed to slide a bit. Thanks

I AM AFRAID TO SAY THE SERVICE WAS NOT VARY GOOD TO SAY THE LEAST. I HAD A NUMBER OF ISSUES THAT WAS NOT ADDRESSED. I HAVE NEVER GIVEN SUCH A POOR REVIEW EVER, I TRULY... IT WAS OBVIOUS YOU WERE ONLY INTERESTED IN GETTING MONEY UP FRONT, ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO ADMIT TO ERROR ON MY PART WHICH COST ME DEAR, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN PICKED UP AT QUOTATION!

I suppose there's always got to be one that does not go smoothly, I'm not going into details as it would end up being a novel alas autonet I found was an up front good... I suppose there's always got to be one that does not go smoothly, I'm not going into details as it would end up being a novel alas autonet I found was an up front good company but I got lied to , promised a replacement policy the list is endless, no I will never use Autonet again, even lied about emails!, and I even proved the said missing email was never sent and got a crass reply that Outlook Hotmail was terrible for emails etc, no never again, before not a problem,after 4 policy's I think it's now a company that originally worked hard at their start up to look good but has now gone slack,
