Also at the end of my actual purchase online a form popped up asking me to fill in the full details of my previous insurer so YOU could check my no claims discount. I filled this in and discovered that the underwriters - NIG - were the same and said so on the form. I then assumed that you would check my no claims entitlement. I then had at least 3 emails and I think I may have had a couple of texts telling me to submit proof of no claims asap!! Come on guys which is it?? Everything was going really well.
So sort out exactly what the customer should be able to check online to save ringing up and checking (which defeats the object of doing it online in the first place)
Get rid of this ridiculous fee of £15 for paying over the phone.
Get rid of that form that says you will check the NCD or keep it and you do it.
Otherwise everything else went smoothly but at the material times things seemed to slide a bit. Thanks
