One of the Volkswagen Van Centres, Robinsons in Norwich has transformed a white Volkswagen Transporter van to a moving England flag with a red flag on the bonnet and the sides as a replica of the Saint George cross, with the England ‘three lions’ shield.

On a larger scale, Volkswagens Abridge Van Centre in Essex has took Volkswagen’ largest van, the Crafter and gave it a more extreme makeover with not only England’s flag displayed but also a display of some of the players as well.

Wendy Williamson, the Brand Manger of the Abridge Van Centre commented that the made-over Crafter was really eye-catching and that people were actually stopping and pointing at it when it was driven down the street. She said that she was amazed at the amount of people who were asking to take it for a drive and that she felt sure that somebody would want to purchase the van as it is.

David George, who is the Head of Marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, remarked that the vans show that our Van Centres are creative and are on the ball, and we are hoping that England’s team will be this clever and have as much success on Sunday.
