The details are now available for the new 2010 Volkswagen Caravelle and the Volkswagen California; the prices and the specifications are ready to be viewed for the 2010 Volkswagen California campervan and the 2010 seven-passenger Caravelle people carrier. Orders for the 2010 editions of these two vans are now being received at Volkswagen Van Centres for the first deliveries that are planned for February.

The new vans are set apart by their frontal style that is a along the same lines of the Polo and Golf, and are obtainable with some of newest luxuries that are in some of Volkswagen’s passenger vehicles, features such as a three-spoke steering wheel that has multi-functions, the latest in touch-screen navigation systems which comes with a 30GB hard drive for navigation and music storage, and a parking system that works with optics and parking sensors.
All of the models have improved standard specifications and in addition have added safety features such as a passenger airbag deactivation control, a seatbelt alert to remind people to buckle up, daylight running lights, and fog lights equipped with a cornering feature to help drivers be able to see better when making a turn. Improved mechanical features include an emergency braking light system that flashes when a driver applies the brakes hard, and the newest Electronic Stabilisation Programme that includes rain brake support. These vans also come with optional safety features that include a tyre monitoring system to alert drivers to a change in the tyre’s air pressure and a lane change assist to help drivers out with their blind spot.
