Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, a UK new and used van dealer has released the first official pictures and the details of the Amarok, a new pick-up from Volkswagen that is expected to be available for purchase in the UK in September 2010.

This new pick-up from Volkswagen will initially be available as quad-door double cab model, with a single cab model available in 2011. The Amarok is constructed with the sturdiness of a pick-up yet equipped with groundbreaking technology, superb safety features, great fuel efficiency, and the comfort, resilience, and class that people have grown to expect from a Volkswagen.
The Amarok is almost ready to be produced in South America at Volkswagen’s manufacturing plant in Buenos Aires. Before the Amarok will be available to the rest of the world, it will make its initial debut in South America in the first part of 2010, with an arrival in Europe in the summer of 2010.
The official pictures that have been released of the Amarok show the most recent Volkswagen elements with a front style that is comparable to the most recent edition of the Transporter and the Golf as well. The Amarok also has similar mechanical features that are comparable to the Caravelle and the Transporter, two of the Volkswagen’s vans that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles feature.
