Volkswagen Vans to be Featured in Adventure Programme on Discovery Channel

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will be the sponsor for the programming on three channels on the Discovery Network for a year, beginning on Monday, May the 31st.

Volkswagen’s sponsorship will include short VW advertisements at the beginning and endingĀ  of each section of the shows, shows that include ‘Bear Grylls: Born Survivor’, ‘Deadliest Catch’, and ‘Storm Chasers’ that are shown on the Discovery Channel, with additional advertisements shown on Animal Planet , Shed, Quest, and the Dmax channels.

The creative advertisements will show a plumber, a veterinarian, and a gardener as they arrive in their VW Caddy, Transporter, and Crafter vans, only to find out that their next assignment is a harder than usual. The professionals will find themselves having to deal with some unusual and adventurous situations, such situations that involve a waterfall, jungle and amazingly enough, a dinosaur as well. The main line of the advertisement, ‘Every job is an adventure’ will be spoken by actor Ray Winstone, who in the same fashion as the VW radio spots will finish up the advertisement with the line, ‘Let’s go to work’.
