Volkswagen Van Centres UK’s high level of customer service has won them the prestigious award of Aftersales Importer of the Year award, an award presented by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

The criterion used to determine the winner of the aftersales award include customer satisfaction ratings, staff training, growth programmes, and a vigorous approach to providing the best aftersales service. The judges who chose Volkswagen Van Centres for the award, judged Volkswagen Van Centres UK against all countries that imports Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. One of the points that especially impressed the judges about Volkswagen Van Centres UK was their focus on the training of their staff; Volkswagen Van Centres has a record amount of Master Technicians employed in their Van Centre UK network. Additional aspects of Volkswagen Van Centres that scored high with the judges were their successful 100 per cent Volkswagen initiative, their service and fleet pricing and being the leader in the most cost effective maintenance.
Stephen Bateson, who heads Aftersales and Customer Services for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, remarked that the award was great news for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and for their customers as well. He went on to say that, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was happy that their customers are receiving world-class service, a great value and are maintaining their vehicles in the best shape possible. Bateson also mentioned the recognition the staff received for their focus on providing the best customer service to drive Volkswagen’s great name even higher.
