Emergency services, running the gamut from law enforcement to coastguards across the United Kingdom may be using a variety of vehicles including Audis, SEATs, Skodas and Volkswagen products as well, both passenger and commercial. This is following the signing of an agreement that is a Group-wide four-year supply agreement that was signed with a major government purchasing entity.

The agreement between The Volkswagen Group and the National Policing Improvement Authority vehicle purchasing department will allow each of the brands to provide vehicles to each police and fire and ambulance authority in the United Kingdom, additionally, they will be able to provide vehicles other emergency services and the NHS too.
This is a first for Volkswagen Group, to be so closely involved in a joint fleet effort. Volkswagen Group’s line of vehicles provides a clear advantage, with Volkswagen Group offering small, large and high performing vehicles plus a range of vans on top of all the other vehicle models. All of Volkswagen Groups offering have great whole-life costs and as a Group, provide unparalleled after sales support.
