Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles made a huge impression on the panel of judges at the Fleet Van Awards 2010, such an impression that the judges gave Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles the Fleet Van Manufacturer of the Year award. The judges of the Fleet Van awards stated that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles provides the best brand value for fleets in the United Kingdom.

In addition to Fleet van Manufacturer of the Year award, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles also received the award of Medium Panel Van of the Year award for their new Transporter van. The Transporter is also celebrating its 60th anniversary of production. Other Volkswagen vans that received honours were the Volkswagen Caddy and Crafter vans that were named as finalists in their respective categories. Theses awards point out that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles one of the most successful van producers on the market.
The panel of Fleet van judges when remarking about the products that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers placed a strong emphasis on the quality of Volkswagen’s vehicles. The judges touted Volkswagen Commercial as offering the best brand value for fleets in the United Kingdom with superb backing from the manufacturer. The judges also reflected that engineering, image, competitive running expense’s, residual value, engines that are more economical, and a brand that has been revamped under Simon Elliot has resulted in a significant growth in sales this year.
Elliot, the Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles stated that the award was a great honour and that he was proud and pleased for the recognition that Volkswagen Commercial had received from the Fleet Van Judges.
