Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is Off to a Good Start in 2010
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has really gotten off to a good start in 2010, being the winner of three awards and by an increase in their market share by 2.4% to 10.4% to the last of April in comparison to the same time period of the previous year, as in they have sold almost as many vans during March alone than the all of the first quarter of 2009.

In under six months time since it was launched back in January, the new Volkswagen Transporter has already been the recipient of two awards. The Volkswagen Crafter, Volkswagen’s largest model was the recipient of the third award.
The Transporter won awards for the Best Medium van in the Van Fleet World 2010 Honours and also won an award in the iVan Awards 2010, in the Standard Panel Van category. The Volkswagen Crafter won the Best Large Van in the Van Fleet World 2010 Honours.

In determining the new Transporter for the award as the Best Medium van at the Van Fleet World Honours, the judging panel done assessed the maintenance expense, the reliability, and the residual value information for the van.
John Kendall, the Van Fleet World editor, expressed that he felt the Transporter a good van before and now an even better van after comprehensive revisions. He complimented the van on having a fine range of engines, on having great build quality and being better a driving van than before. In short, Kendall said that the new Transporter had a lot gong for it. Kendall also stated that the Crafter has a lot to offer on all counts.
