The Volkswagen Caravelle, a seven-seat people carrier, has been seen at the Volkswagen Centre in Lancashire bedecked with decorative decals. This presentation of the Caravelle with all the decals is part of Volkswagen’s promotion of their lifestyle line of vehicles and a part of the Escape crusade that has been going throughout the summer.

In addition to the embellishing decals, this special edition of the Caravelle that the Volkswagen Centre is presenting has lowered suspension, a body kit and wheels from Sportline, and chrome and sidebar features. In addition to the exterior of this special Caravelle, the interior is adorned with bespoke leather.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is the driving force behind the decals on this Caravelle to showcase their lifestyle vans and Escape crusade, asking people to share how they use their Volkswagen vehicle to escape from their normal schedule of events. During the Escape crusade, the Van Centre in Lancashire also showcased a Volkswagen California campervan that like the Caravelle that they presented was decked out in decals as well.
The Caravelle and the California that were showcased to promote the Escape crusade both are 2009 models with very few miles on each one, and both are powered by a 2.5L engine. The Caravelle is equipped with seven seats, baggage space to spare and sliding side doors that make it convenient for people to access and exit the van. The inside of the Caravelle is alterable and adaptable with seats that move on rails and seats that can be swivelled around.
