September’s light commercial vehicle numbers come two and a half years after their previous best retail market share that Vauxhall recorded back in March of 2008. 2010 has proven to be a good year for Vauxhall’s Commercial Vehicles so far, as in addition to a record share of the light commercial retail market, Vauxhall has seen sales of their commercial vehicles up 99.1 per cent on last year, with a registration of 5001 vans in comparison to 2512 back in 2009. Additionally, retail van sales were lifted by a four-year deal that offers four years of 0 per cent finance, four year free servicing and warranty, and four years of AA coverage.
Richard Collier, who oversees Commercial Vehicle Sales for Vauxhall commented by saying that September sees the most van sales and that he was pleased with Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles’ achievement of an all-time best in retail market share for LCVs.
In 2010, Vauxhall has released the all-new Movana, which is a mid-cycle improvement of the Vivaro and Corsavan equipped with Start/Stop technology.
