With only 1000 days left before the beginning of London’s 2012 Paralympic event, UPS, the world famous global shipping company has already started the massive logistical task of taking their role as the Official Logistics and Express and Delivery Supporter of the 2012 games that will be held in London.

In the next three months, the global shipping giant will put London branding on over 3,600 vans and company vehicles and on over 2,500 uniforms throughout all of its United Kingdom operations. During the next 1,000 days and after, UPS will have the responsibility for virtually all of the supply chain moving and logistics service for the upcoming 2012 Olympic and Paralympic event. UPS will be taking care of the event logistics services, warehousing, and a distributing chain that will pick up and deliver documents, freight and everything in between. In addition to warehousing, logistic services, and the distribution of freight and documents, UPS will also have the responsibility for customs clearance, courier services, and moving freight forward during the special Olympic games and afterwards.
