Translinc, the leading local authority fleet supplier in the United Kingdom has been awarded a three-year contract to provide vans for CHP, a non-profit housing association, which happens to be one of the biggest developing housing associations in Essex as well. Translinc, which has been selected due to their top commitment to providing customer service and their value for the money has been given a contract to provide 21 vans to CHP, the contract awarded to Translinc has duration of three years. Based in Lincolnshire, Translinc has been selected to provide the Ford Transit vans through 2010, with a potential opportunity to get another order for 12 more vans in the coming year.

Mark Stephens, of CHP remarked that CHP was delighted to have given the contract to Translinc after an intense tendering process and that CHP was looking forward to a productive working relationship with Translinc since we have been very impressed with their list of clients, their long legacy of fleet management and their continual commitment to providing customer service.
Ever since 2003, CHP has employed Transit vans, Translinc’s provision of new, more efficient vans will enable Translinc to lower the emissions of their fleets and also cut their fuel costs by an improvement in fuel economy. The Transit vans will have racking systems installed, and be the vans for CHP’s internal trades teams, which will include repairs and maintenance operatives, Decent Homes tradesmen and gardening and eco team.
