The New Volkswagen Caddy with Cherry on Top?

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has released a new, far-reaching advertising campaign that has the theme ‘Brilliant Made Better’ to kick-off the official launch of their new Caddy panel van and MPV range. The theme is illustrated in the adverts by showing a production robot putting a cherry on a Caddy van.

Volkswagen Commercials new Caddy Van that is now arriving at VW Van Centres has a micro site all its own, the new micro site has the same name as the theme www.brilliantmadebetter.co.uk. The new micro site provides an interactive guide to the van and has an online game. Further on in the month, the new VW Caddy will be featured in advertisements on survival and adventure programming on the Discovery Network.

David George, the head of marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles stated that the Caddy was one of Volkswagen Commercials top selling model ranges in the United Kingdom., and we were needing a way to promote all of the ways that the new Caddy is an even better vehicle than the previous model of the Caddy, and clearly demonstrate how Volkswagen always strive to be excellent. George also stated that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was pleased with the new campaign using Volkswagen’s style of clearness and conciseness with a simple but humorous twist thrown in.

The launching of the new Caddy is in unison with Volkswagen’s launch of magazine- style brochures that are informative and created to be colourful and easy reading but at the same time provide a practical guide to all the models un Volkswagen Commercial’s range. Additionally, as a first there will be customer interviews included in the brochures.
