Practical Motorhome magazine award judges have lauded the new Tribute T620 motorhome as the best budget-buy and best overall motorhome for 2010. The Tribute T260 motorhome manufactured by Auto-Trail is based on the most recent Transit motorhome chassis. Additionally, the Tribute T620’s sister, the T720, another Ford based product, won runner-up in the best family motorhome category.

The new Ford-based motorhome models are from three-quarter’s of a century’s worth of experience poured into one product courtesy of 45 years of development on the Ford Transit side and 30 years of manufacturing motor homes on the Auto-Trail side.
Using skilful construction procedures implementing the same interiors that are in all of Auto-Trail’s motor home’s offerings, means that the T620 has a payload capacity of 730kg, making it possible for families to carry all of the luggage they desire to carry when taking an excursion.
The judges that gave the Tribute T620 the awards asked, “What is there not to like about the Transit Tribute?” The judges also stated that it was great to see a British company making motor caravanning more accessible for the masses during a tough economy.
