Staveley Head Welcomes Gilles Vidal
Staveley Head, one of the top van insurance brokers for van owners in the United Kingdom, welcomes the Giles Vidal as the Design Director of French auto and van manufacturer, Peugeot. Vidal has been with Peugeot since 1996 took the post on January the fourth. Vidal was rewarded with this position due to the hard work that he put into the creation of a new brand for Peugeot, which is to be released later on in the month.

Ever since the middle part of last century, Peugeot has had a profitable partnership with the Italian designer, Pininfarina, this partnership spanned several decades. When the 1980’s rolled around, Peugeot begin using in house designing that was a success in the beginning; as early models designed in house showed some of the same verve as those designed by Pininfarina. However, as time wore on it seems that the later models did not seem to have the same flair as the former ones. Peugeot hopes that the promotion of Vidal to the position of Design Director will remedy the situation.
A Staveley Head spokesperson commented that usually French automobiles and vans are made with a flair and innovation that other countries are unable to match; lately though, it has seemed that Peugeot has been falling behind rivals in the quality of their designs, it is hoped that the appointment of Vidal will improve the situation.
