Tuesday, March 23 2010

Renault, which has held the title of being the number one commercial vehicle manufacturer in western Europe for the last twelve years, and had 14.81% share of the market in 2009, is positioned well to go against the downturn that is afflicting the market, which fell 28% in the previous year.

In 2010, Renault will be offering three new models that should help Renault to maintain their position in the commercial vehicle market.  The latest van offering by Renault can be ascribed one word, that word is more, more on efficiency, more on comfort, and more economic. The three new models that Renault will be launching to renew and upgrade its van offering are the New Renault Master, the New Renault Trafic, and lastly the New Renault Kangoo Express Maxi.

Renault’s chief offering in their commercial vehicle line is the New Renault Master that sports brave styling that reflects its rugged construction, while the interior driving section has been totally redesigned to provide an exceptional level of  comfort for those who drive it.

These vans will be powered by a new 2.3 dCi engine that comes in three different power outputs that can be chosen, 100hp, 125hp, and 150hp. As far as fuel efficiency for Renault’s new range of vans, the new vans boast a gain of 1 litre per 100km better than the old Master van, and the New Master front wheel edition is said to provide a class-topping 7.1 litre’s per 100km.
