Adding to the Safety award, which Renault has received for the second consecutive year, the top light commercial vehicle company received two other major awards at the event that was held at the Royal Automobile Club in London. The first award, the van Manufacturer of the Year is due to the upgrades and improvements of their three van model ranges as of lately; the second award was the Best New Van that Renault won for their New Master, this award came just nine days after the showroom debut of the leading offering from Renault.

In speaking about Renault winning the overall Van Manufacturer of the Year award, John Kendall of Van Fleet World commented that the light CV’s offered by Renault do well in the United Kingdom, and that Renault happens to be the largest seller of light CV’s in Europe. Kendall pointed out that the New Master is a substantial advance over the prior edition and the recent adding on of the Kangoo Maxi helps the competitiveness of the Kangoo model too.
