Ever since its inception in 1901, ISS has grown at an exceptional rate, which now makes ISS the Europe’s fourth largest employer in the private sector, and the fifth largest  worldwide with staff of over 500,000 employees. ISS services cover a wide range of customer’s needs, which include cleaning, catering and reception services, landscaping services, mechanical services and electric services, and facility services management.

The first Renault vehicles that ISS will receive this week will be the Mégane Coupé and New Kangoo Van. These vehicles provided by Renault will be used by the ISS staff for a range of their business requirements, the supervisor and managerial staff will have the choice of using the Clio, Mégane and Laguna ranges.

The ISS United Kingdom’s Group Fleet Manager, Nigel Rowden, stated that ISS already is under an existing pan-European agreement with Renault that spans seven countries and that ISS makes a careful comparison of vehicle manufacturers by a number of specifications that include the cost of running the vehicle, the vehicle’s safety, and the style and performance of the vehicle. Rowden said that Renault met all the criteria that they were looking for in a vehicle. Rowden also said that environmental impact and running costs played a key role in their decision of what cars and vans to employ; and that  Renault’s vehicles offer great fuel economy a good variety of young vehicles that all come with low C02 numbers.
