Peugeot continues their powerful sale’s performance for 2010, as they grab an 8.55% share of the market during the first quarter. Peugeot sold 2,632 LCV’s during the month of March, these figures were up by 41.4% when compared with the March 2009 figures. Peugeot reports these numbers in a LCV market that showed a 16.1% increase. This strong showing by Peugeot is built upon the strong performance in the beginning months of 2010.
Both the Peugeot Bipper and the Peugeot New Partner have both enjoyed strong sales growth during March. The usefulness, small size, and the way the Peugeot Bipper has been packaged has attracted many customers that are gravitating towards smaller vehicles that are easier on fuel, and are more in line with their actual load hauling needs. These winsome qualities have also helped Peugeot to land a deal with the Royal Mall to provide them with 2,000 of the fuel-efficient Bipper vans as a part of their fuel saving plan.
In addition to the success of their Bipper van, Peugeots Partner van has continued to show good sales strength. The Peugeot Partner van has seen sales rise by 31.1% in the first quarter, when compared with 2009′s figures
