Nissan is looking to play a major role in the LCV market as it rolls out a hard-charging new product plan that is committed to providing three new models each year starting in 2011 and running through 2013. Nissan’s campaign to be the top manufacturer of light commercial vehicles begins now. Nissan is panning on launching a new passenger edition of the NV200 during the Hanover Motor Show, which will be open to the press on September 21st, 22nd, and open to the public on September 23rd through the 30th. Additionally, Nissan will reveal a zero-emission battery technology that will be utilized on Nissan’s coming full-electric van.

Additional highlights of the show are the bringing in of advanced technology in Nissan vehicles that has been created to enhance the ease and safety of LCV drivers and passengers.
However, it has not yet been revealed who the star of the show will be. Nissan has made plans to unveil an important new range of vehicles that will take Nissan into new frontiers in the LCV market.
According to Gilles Normand, of Nissan Motor Co., Nissan is dead serious in their endeavour to become a major player in the commercial vehicle realm. Normand said that Nissan plans on selling commercial vehicles in over ninety-percent of the globe’s markets by 2012’s end.
Nissan’s growth will be fuelled by nine new models that will be coming out during the next three years; this includes the first offerings of a substantial partnership with Ashok Leyland in India. Additionally, Nissan is on the fringe of hitting the North American van scene with their new NV van series.
