New Euro Five Engines for Peugeot LCVs

Peugeot will be progressively introducing an array of Euro 5 diesel engines across their light commercial vehicle offerings. The popular collection of light commercial vehicles that Peugeot offers a wide-ranging variety of payloads and now provides reduced running expenses by the introduction of the Euro 5 diesel engines.

Peugeot 207 Van
One of the Peugeot vehicles that will be receiving a Euro 5 diesel engine is the Peugeot 207 van. The 207 will be benefiting from a choice of two Euro Five diesel engines, one of them being an Hid 70 that emits 110 g/km of CO2 and the other one an HDi 92 with a CO2 emission of 115 g/km. The introduction of the new diesel engines brings down the first year VED by £75, in comparison to the old Euro 4 model, making the cost of first year VED £125.00 for vehicles that are registered before the first of the year.

Peugeot Bipper Van
In addition to the Peugeot 207 van, the Peugeot Bipper van is currently available with a new 1.3 litre HDi 75 diesel engine. Additionally, the Bipper is also available with stop-start technology, which along with the new HDi diesel engine further increases the environmentally friendly credibly of the Peugeot Bipper van. The CO2 emissions of the Bipper with the 1.3 litre Hdi diesel engine are 109 g/km and the van boasts a fuel economy of 68.2 mpg. Additionally, the Bipper because of the introduction of the Hdi 75 engine has seen an increase in payload from 610 kg to 660 kg.

More Euro 5 engines are in the works for the Peugeot LCV range for the next 12 months.
