Here is the third instalment in a series of articles featuring weird and funny things witnessed by RAC Patrols as they have responded to breakdown calls. Check out the strange encounters that the RAC Patrol has had to face:

Van insurance from The Van Insurer

1. There was a RAC member who had misfuelled and was afraid that he was going to miss his flight. The member told the RAC Patrol that he had managed to get the flight delayed; no, he was not a celebrity, but was an essential part of the flight crew, he happened to be the pilot of the plane. The plane finally took off, two hours after its scheduled time.
2. A RAC member showed a remarkable amount of excitement when he saw the RAC Patrol pulling into his drive; he was so overjoyed that he locked himself out of his home. Fortunately, the two working together were able to get back into the member’s house.
3. There was a pregnant woman who was stuck on the side of the road who made a strange request of the RAC Patrol; she asked the Patrol to bring her a BIG Mac that she had been craving before they fixed her car.
