The new Nissan Interstars will be utilizing trailers to haul grass-cutting machinery during the summer months and during the winter months they will be used in capital work that includes the planting of trees and shrubs.
The Interstars will be provided by Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London, and will receive their servicing and support from their Tongwell facilities located in Milton Keynes.
Land Structure Ltd. was started to capitalize the rapidly rising landscaping opportunities that are being presented in Milton Keynes, Land Structure Ltd. now has a well-established landscaping business that takes on commercial, industrial, as well as leisure landscaping jobs. The Nissan Interstars were chosen by Land Structure because of their middle wheelbase, and the roof height choices that provided the increase in cube gross weight that Land Structure was looking to find. Other features of the Nissan Interstars include a 120 hp engine and a six speed manual box.
Mike Miller of Land Structure when commenting on receiving the two Nissan Interstars said that the two vans were purchased for a long term housing association maintenance contract that we have had for six years that has been renewed. On choosing the Volvo Truck and Bus Centre for the vans, Miller said that they anticipated that they would have a greater understanding of the needs of transport operators, having longer operating hours and providing better aftermarket support.
