Hyundai Provides Transportation for 2010 FIFA World Cup

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, Hyundai Motor Company is prepared to provide hundreds of cars and vans for the transport needs of the globe’s largest sporting event in South Africa, which will include the buses that will provide ground transport for all of the 32 teams of qualified nations.

Hyundai will deliver in excess of 609 passenger automobiles and vans and 32 Hyundai luxury coaches to be at the disposal of the officials of the FIFA, the national teams, organizing committee, to referees and members of the medias during the duration of the World Cup competition.

Sean S.H. Kim, an executive at Hyundai Motor’s commented that Hyundai was proud to be a partner with FIFA during the football competition. He stated that this opportunity for Hyundai to be the provider of VIP transportation at the tournament provides us with the visibility that we need in Africa and around the globe to build awareness of the Hyundai brand and the products that we offer.
