Grays Truck and Van, which is based in Guildford are expanding their Iveco franchise into the Western part of London as they open a new Iveco dealership in Heathrow today.

This expanding of Grays Iveco franchise is part of a 24-year relationship between Grays Truck and Van and Iveco, over the past 24 years Grays has been established as a major dealership for one of the most heavily populated areas in the United Kingdom. This expansion by Grays Truck and Van will mean that Grays will now take over the franchise that Dagenham Motors at Hayes had been operating. With Grays taking over the franchise in Hayes, Iveco will now turn their focus to the business at their main Iveco dealership, Barking, which has support from a satellite operation located in Chelmsford. Dagengham Motors will provide sales and after the sale service across their DAR, which is short for dealer area of reference, Dagenham Motors DAR includes Essex and the Suffolk borders.
The new Grays and Van site in Heathrow is an investment of around £2 million and will help to provide Iveco operators a high standard of dealer assistance in the home counties. The new site has a 12,000 sq ft workshop that is designed in the shape of a herringbone and will operate with 15 drive-through service bays that have the capability of providing maintenance for over 2,000 vehicles that are on a six-week service schedule. The site also has the area for storing 50 commercial vehicles at the facility.
