Fortis is Now a Part of the Insurers Featured on the Budget Van Insurance Panel

Bringing a new van insurance proposition to the industry in 2005, Fortis is continuing to provide highly competitive prices for their clients. Fortis became a part of the Budget Van Insurance panel as an extension of an affiliation with Junction that has already enjoyed a degree of success; Junction is BGL Group’s affinity division.

Fortis is one of the biggest underwriters of automobile insurance for the BGL group; becoming a part of the budget Van Insurance panel is one part of Fortis’s continued growth as they seek to move forward. Fortis will be functioning on BGL’s new platform Polaris that came out earlier in the year and has increased BGL Groups quote capacity.

Budget Van Insurance, started in 2006, has attained national fame for their creativity that they displayed in their marketing and for being nervy in their marketing crusades that are aimed at the average van man. Due to this marketing approach, they have built quite a base of customers among commercial vehicle drivers.

Will Price of BGL Group stated that BGL was happy to have Fortis as member number 13 of the Budget Van Insurance panel and noted that Fortis is already a big part of our private auto insurance panel so we are thrilled that Fortis will be moving into the Commercial Vehicle sector.

The BGL Group, which use to be known as the Budget Group of Companies was started 1n 1992 and is one of the United Kingdom’s biggest names in personal line insurance.
