Fiat Professional in an announcement this week stated that Scottish Southern Energy had made a commitment to an 1100-vehicle supply agreement.

The vehicles that will be supplied by Fiat will a mixture of the New Doblo Cargo, the Fiorino Cargo and the Grande Punto van that will be funded and under the management of Lex Autolease and will be put into service starting in June this year.
The agreement was made final at the CV Operator Show, held at the NEC, in Birmingham, with Gemma Trew, the Commercial Manager of Fleet Services for Scottish Southern Energy, Mike Lauriello, the Corporate Business Development director for Lex Autolease and Colin Parnell from Fiat Group.
Parnell stated that Fiat Professional was happy to announce their dealings with their partners at Scottish Southern Energy and also at Lex Autolease. He added that this deal once more confirms that the Fiat Professional range offers a highly competitive, low priced, model for use by major fleets; when this is aligned with Fiats superior engine technology, which includes Euro-5, Start&Stop, and speed limitations from the factory and you have a first class offer for fleet operators.
