It seems that so far, Britain has failed to grab the electric van ‘bait’ fully. Whilst some companies have invested in electric vehicles and in some cases full fleets of electric vans, Britain as a whole does not yet have a comprehensive re-charge point system and is not taking the initiative when it comes to all things electric.
What’s also interesting is the lack of competition for authority on electric vehicle supplies and services- something which could potentially create a most lucrative business in the near future. It’s hoped that government initiative and promotion schemes will boost interest and investment in the electric van market and help take Britain into a greener 2012.
