The sale of Citroën’s LCV’s jumped up 47.58 per cent in the month of April, helping Citroën to acquire a 9 per cent share of the market. A strong showing in the spring season from Citroën’s Nemo, Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay models propelled Citroën’s April LCV sales to a level of 1,340 units.

As Citroën’s LCV sales so far this year have seen an enormous gain of 22.61 percent at 6,013, Citroën has practically done more than double the total LCV market’s year to date gain of 11.91 per cent.

Charles Peugeot, who is the Head of the Commercial Vehicles and Business Sector stated that Citroën had enjoyed a strong April and a strong 2010 year to date sales performance, and had significantly performed better than a market that was rising rapidly. Peugeot attributed the success that had been attained to Citroën’s outstanding offering of products, their highly attractive customer offers and the consistent performance from all of their LCV models.

Citroën has took decisive action to make sure of the success of their technologically- advanced, eco-responsible LCV product offerings in 2010. As they have built upon the strong points of the Citroën LCV range such strong points as, low emissions, great fuel efficiency and low operating costs - Citroën brings to the market an on-going programme of nice looking Citroën Contract Motoring contract hire finance options.
