With John Kendall as driver and Dr Paul Nieuwenhuis acting as co-driver, the Citroën Nemo out-performed all of the LCVs that participated in the 399.4 mile marathon. This is the third year running that the Citroën Nemo has been named as the ‘UK’s Most Economical Van’ in the gruelling test laid out in the ALD Automotive/TOTAL ECO 10 MPG Marathon.
John Kendall praised the fuel efficiency Citroën Nemo by relaying how that the Nemo provided 81.93mpg as it travelled over a tough course. Kendall pointed out that they had to maintain an average speed of 30mph in order to avoid being penalized. Kendall also stated that the event this year revealed that the Citroën Nemo van was very good on fuel on all road types and under all kinds of driving conditions.
