Iveco, commercial vehicle producer will be awarding 15 awesome prizes which will include a grand prize award of an all expense paid trip to the picturesque country of Italy. Iveco will be giving this prize away and others at the Freight Transport Association’s yearly series of Transport Manager and Fleet Manager Meetings that will be happening throughout the United Kingdom starting in September and running through December.

At each of the Transport and Fleet Manager seminar one delegate will be presented with the chance to win a festive dinner that will include one night’s lodging and a VIP hospitality pass to a Trofeo Abarth 500 race, which will take place at a blue ribbon circuit in the summer 2011.

It is busy work keeping up a palace, especially a 750-acre estate such as the Hampton Court Palace. A palace that in addition to an army of gardeners that it has on staff also employs the use of a small fleet of Ford Transits to help the staff to stay on top of things.

The Hampton Court Palace has received three new Ford Transits, which wear the colours of the south-west London Palace. The Ford Transit vans that bear the colours of the palace were provided by Dinnages, a Sussex-based Ford dealer, which has its 75th anniversary this year.
Graham Dillamore, who is with Historic Royal Places said that the Palace has four vehicles that all came from Dinnages. He stated that three of the vehicles are utilized by staff members of the 44 full time gardening staff workers for general gardens and for retail operations concerning the estate; these retail operations outlets are located at the following locations, Tower of London, Hampton Court, and at the Kensington Palace location.
Dillamore said that they chose the Ford Transit due to its ready availability, how easy it is maintained, and staff familiarity. Dillamore also mentioned that Dinnages was their preferred Ford dealer to do business with and that they had found their staff nice to do business with, and we have developed a good relationship with their staff.

Iveco, an international producer of commercial vehicles has added to their range of light commercial vehicles in the United Kingdom, namely the Daily and the EcoDaily range, with new 7.0 tonne models now available. The new 7.0 tonne models will provide extra payload capacity in the amount of 470 kg in comparison to the 6.5 tonne models; this gives 4,700 kg of payload capacity in the chassis cabs, which is a payload capacity that is greater than many medium truck range trucks. This fact is a testimony to the Iveco Daily’s truck derived legacy.
