BT Fleet Acquires AA Contract

BT Fleet, one of the top Fleet management companies in the United Kingdom, has acquired a contract to oversee the fleet management and vehicle maintenance of AA’s commercial vehicles. They will be managing and providing maintenance for the light and heavy commercial vehicles in AA’s fleet of breakdown and recovery vehicles that numbers 2,500 strong. The contract that AA awarded BT will be for a length of five years.

AA, being one of the top suppliers of breakdown and recovery services, has as a main focus, keeping a maximum amount of vehicles available and having a minimum amount of downtime. These two elements are crucial to meeting the standards that customers and members expect from AA.

Steve Sharpe, who heads Recovery and Fleet for AA commented that AA is pleased to continue on with their affiliation with BT Fleet and that AA chose BT Fleet because of their commitment to providing superb service. Sharpe also added that AA was looking forward to working with BT Fleet in the years to come.

Janet Entwistle, of BT Fleet made the comment that she was delighted that BT Fleet had been given the opportunity to proceed in their relationship with AA and that AA had been their first big fleet client. She went on to say that, she was especially pleased to have kept this high-profile client and to have been able to seal their commitment for a long-term affiliation with a five-year contract.
