Anchor Vans opens new MOT test centre

Monday, January 18 2010

Anchor Vans, one of the premier dealers of new and previously owned vans in south-eastern England recently opened a new MOT and servicing centre in Tadley, Berkshire. The servicing centre has four servicing ramps, which will make it possible for the centre to provide service for any automobile or small van; in addition to the four service ramps, the centre has a class four Ministry of Transport test ramp. The opening of the new centre comes on the heels of a substantial renovation and upgrading of the servicing equipment found in the previous Anchor Vans used facilities.

The Sales Director for Anchor pointed out that Anchor Vans old location is a perfect place for providing MOT and automobile maintenance services to the folks who live in Tadley. Joyce also made the point that the servicing centre was located in the heart of town, next to the Sainsbury’s supermarket, so people can have their vehicle in for an MOT while they go ahead with their shopping.

Prior to this Anchor Vans had moved to a bigger, custom-made site on the A4 because of their success and the expansion of their business. The new site had extensive servicing facilities, and was a Ford approved servicing site. This was great, but Anchor wanted to provide a local site that offered MOT service for the residents and people who pass through Tadley. The MOT and servicing while people shop is a great convenience to the people of Tadley and shows that Anchor is working hard for the people of Tadley, offering convenience and also providing jobs for the local population.
